About Sharon…

For me, being kind is the key, in practising yoga and living life.

So, my intention is to give and share kindness – for myself, my students, family and friends. For everyone, for every living thing.

Inspired originally by a book of my mother and then by very special teachers, yoga is now a part of me. It is not a chore or work. It is not a possession. I step onto my beautiful mat and feel a sense of peace. A gentle smile plays across my lips and I become calm. I become aware of my breath, of my body and heart.

In these times, it is so important to just be where we are, in the actual moment. Right there in that breath. Learning how being still is nourishing. Listening to where healing breath needs to be sent, physically and emotionally. Yoga is certainly my happy space. It helps each and every day.

Each time I read this quote, I love it more. As it says all I feel - mind, body and soul.

“This is my simple religion. There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy. Our own heart is our temple; the philosophy is kindness.”

By-His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama

My passion is to practise and share yoga with all of you. Let’s spread the kindness!
